This is our most sought out rental home but it is not for the faint of heart!  A long, windy drive over the creek and uphill brings you through a covered dual garage to this Country Rental A-frame Home in Athens. Loads of glass and privacy in the woods above the world!  One bedroom and bath on the first floor along with washer/dryer, large living room, and kitchen.  A second floor loft is accessible from the spiral staircase.  New vinyl flooring was installed in September that is not shown in photos.  Please note that this flooring can only be cleaned with 1/4 cup ammonia or white vinegar to one gallon of water... absolutely NO soaps.  If this does not work for you, this property is not for you.  Owning a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended at this property as it can become quite difficult navigating the driveway in winter.

 

It stays fairly cool in the summer due to the wooded area.  No mowing required but tenant must take care of the flower beds and keep them clean and free of weeds.  If you love peace & quiet, you will love this secluded country rental.

Rent is $1250 and includes minimum Sunday Creek Water, Frontier internet, access to a dumpster, and gas heat while the well lasts.  If it runs out, tenant will be responsible for propane.   We allow one dog if over 25 lbs or two small dogs / one dog one cat / or two cats with a refundable $300 deposit. Pets must be spayed/neutered.  Cell service is spotty and depends on your carrier.
