The Grainary

The adorable, one bedroom cottage was the old summer kitchen of a historic home that burnt down many years ago has also met its demise in July 2026 as it was no longer functional.  A new more modern cabin is being built in its place and we continue to have our long term tenant renting it.

 

The new cottage will include a mud room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, living room and bedroom.  There is a storage shed and an old grain bin creatively used by previous tenants to house chickens, dry garlic, etc.
 

Rent includes lawn care, use of our dumpster 1/4 mile down the road, and minimum water.  Tenant responsible for internet, electric, propane, and extra water.
